A Clear Run North Along the Coast
From Akkarai Beach, head north on ECR past Injambakkam and turn into Teachers Colony in Vettuvankeni — second floor of Velu's Tectum. The drive is around ten minutes and mostly open road outside weekend beach hours. Coming across from the Sholinganallur side, join ECR at the junction and continue north; the route is the same from there.

If a Tooth Gets Knocked Out
Worth knowing before it happens, because the first fifteen minutes decide the outcome. Pick the tooth up by the crown, never the root. If it is dirty, rinse it briefly in milk or saline — not water, and do not scrub it. Then either slot it back into the socket and bite gently on a clean cloth, or keep it in a cup of milk. Get to a dentist immediately; a tooth replanted within the hour has a genuine chance of surviving, and one that has dried out on a shelf does not.
