Who we are

Dr. Priya's Dentistry is a dental clinic operating at Dr. Priya's Dentistry, 2nd Floor, Velu's Tectum, Teachers Colony, Vettuvankeni, ECR, Chennai – 600115. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below. You can reach us on +91 81244 95090.

What we collect

Through the appointment and enquiry forms on this website we collect only what we need to contact you and prepare for your visit:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The treatment you are enquiring about and your preferred date
• Anything you choose to write in the free-text message box

Please do not enter detailed medical history into the website form. Bring it to your appointment instead, where it is recorded in your clinical file rather than transmitted by email.

Separately, when you attend the clinic we create and maintain a clinical record — dental history, examination findings, radiographs, photographs, treatment notes and payment records. That record is held in the clinic, not on this website.

How your information reaches us

Website form submissions are transmitted through a third-party form delivery service, which forwards them to the clinic's email address. That provider processes the message in transit and does not use it for its own purposes. Everything else on this site is static — we do not run trackers, advertising pixels or profiling scripts.

This site embeds a Google Map so you can find us, and a WhatsApp link so you can message us. When you interact with either, that company receives your request under its own privacy policy. We do not receive any data from those interactions unless you message us directly.

Why we use it

• To contact you and confirm your appointment
• To answer the question you asked us
• To provide dental care safely, with knowledge of your history
• To keep the records that dental practice requires us to keep

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing. We do not pass it to anyone outside the clinic except where a referral to another clinician is part of your care, or where the law requires disclosure.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries that do not become appointments are deleted once the enquiry is closed. Clinical records are kept for the period required for dental records in India, and longer where a child's treatment requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete information we are not legally required to retain. You can withdraw consent to being contacted at any time. Call +91 81244 95090 or write to us at the clinic address above, and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

We treat children, and a parent or guardian provides consent for their treatment and their data. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child through this website.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Clinical records are held with access limited to clinical staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of health information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted at the clinic.
